Framestore's in-house art department was delighted to trip a little light fantastic and join the film in post-production, helping visualise the spellbinding 'under the magic ocean' sequence, where Mary first shows the Banks children how to unlock their imaginations.

The team helped bring the rich underwater world to life, conjuring sea life, a sunken galleon and an oversized rubber duck before bubbling back to the ocean's surface in a bathtub-cum-sailboat.

"The 1964 film has a place in all of our hearts as film fans and artists, so the opportunity to work on Rob Marshall's sequel was a dream come true," says Martin McCrae, Head of Framestore's Art Department. "Rob had a distinctive and stylised vision for the film which was a lot of fun to work on, and it was a treat to see how Rob and our VFX team ultimately brought our concept work to the big screen."
